My client asked for a natural highlights. I mixed up three colours; a light blonde, a caramel blonde and a brown. The blondes would give the colour a fresh look and the browns ensure the overall colour doesn’t go to light and/or brassy. The colours were alternated throughout the hair in foils. As soon as the colour had taken the foils were removed, rinsed and the hair was washed and conditioned. Protection products were then applied to the hair. The hair was sectioned for layers and feathering and the length had a two inches taken off. Next the hair was blow dried and straightened and the layers were chipped into. A GHD polishing serum was used to finish. The serum smooths the hair and prevents static.
