My client asked for blonde highlights and a cut so I mixed two different shades of blonde and a natural; the blondes to lighten the hair and the natural to keep it looking like highlights and not a block colour.
I placed the foils in the half a head and I also scattered some blonde foils in the underneath section so the colour wasn’t two-toned.
Once the colouring process was completed and the colour had taken I rinsed the foils, washed and conditioned the hair then prepared it with products ready to cut and style. The products I used was a thermal protector to prevent heat damage and a luxe oil to nourish the hair.
I then blow dried and straightened the hair before trimming the layers. I then cut three inches off the length as my clients fancied a slightly shorter style and feathered her hair around her face for a soft finish.
