My clients asked for natural blonde highlights and a cut.
I started by mixing my colours and sectioning her hair ready for the foils. I scattered the foils throughout all the hair to give an even result.
Once the foils were in I waited for the colour to take before rinsing the colour, washing and conditioning the hair.
I sectioned the hair to cut in some layers. Then I cut an inch off the length to get rid of any split ends.
Next I applied thermal protector to prevent the heat of the hair dryer or the straighteners damaging the hair and I also used a leave-in shine conditioner. I then dried and straightened my clients hair before feathering the hair around her face which softens the style.
My client has a lot of hair so after the feathering I cut into the layers and slightly into length to remove some of the weight and make the hair more manageable for my client.
The final step was applying a serum to give a sleeker finish.
