My client asked me for half a head of foils as she wanted to stay blonde but she asked could it be toned down a bit. I mixed up a very light blonde and placed the foils in the hair. Once all the foils were in and the colour had taken, the foils were removed, the colour was rinsed and the hair was washed and conditioned. A beige toner was then applied to give a cool, fresh and clean blonde. Once the toner had taken the hair was again washed and conditioned.
A thermal protector was then sprayed on the hair to prevent any heat damage that may be caused by the hair dryer and straighteners then a leave in conditioner was applied to nourish the hair. The hair style was a bob and my client was happy with the style but as it had been seven weeks since her previous cut she just needed the shape sharpened.
The back of the hair was sectioned so the graduation could be cut in. A slight layer was added to create volume and the front sections were blended onto the rest of the cut. The hair was then blow dried and straightened before a polishing serum was used to finish.
