My client previously had highlights but she fancied a changed and asked for subtle ombre.
As the ends were a lovely blonde already I mixed up a natural colour and applied it to the roots and mid-lengths. Once the colour had processed I rinsed the colour and placed a toner on all the hair.
I then shampooed and conditioned the hair before towel drying and spraying a thermal protector on the hair along with a light leave in conditioner. The thermal protector protects the hair from heat damage caused by drying and/or straightening the hair and the leave in conditioner nourishes and smooths the hair.
Next I combed through the hair using a tangle teezer, sectioned the hair ready for the cut and then cut in some long layers, trimmed the length and feathered the front. I then blow dried the hair before running the straighteners lightly over it to sharpen the edges.
To finish I added a little bit of polishing serum to give a nice sleek result.
